Although its good the wars ending the Germans are absolutely humiliated by having to sign it without negotiation. Then french paparazzi came and took a picture to spread around central Europe!

we watched a movie today based on the allies trying to take out the u-boats bases. about 500,000 allies died and about 250,000 germans died. what ruined it for the allies was the intense rain fall. this stopped supplies and tanks. this also made it hard for allies to advance, making things worse the town was uphill. after the 10 day artillery fire the drainage system was completly blown out of wack, making more water fall towards the allies side. after efforts the base was taken at a cost.
